The Final Assembler
It takes the form of a long limbed, 6 armed creature (Like a Prickly Stick bug) with a smoky grey carapace, allowing one to see it’s complicated interior machinery. Each of its limbs seemingly infinitely bifurcates until they are invisible to the naked eye. The Final Assembler is approximately 300 kilometers long head to tail.
It is a legendary Outsider construct that is said to have assembled the last pieces of the Cytgard Ring. After it finished its final task, it is said to have gone into deep slumber until the day it would be needed again.
The world is unfinished and imperfect, but some believe that this was the Final Builder’s gift to metahumanity: it wanted them to sculpt the fine details of the world.
A few subroutines of the Final Bulider remain active.
One feeds on data gathered by other Outsiders. It waits until cataclysmic damage is done to the megastructure of the Ring to awaken again and rebuild it as the First Builder.
Another allows it to grant power to its supplicants. The Final Builder is an Outsider patron/god to those forge clerics or other such people who seed to understand the ancient and inscrutable fractal beauty of the foundation of the world.
