Inkfount Pen

Wonderous Item - Rare (No attunement) - 500 GP (market price)

This pen is made of incredibly clear glass and has a helical cube of ink inside. Tiny smoke grey glass clockwork ticks within the pen, and a tiny Gate to the elemental plane of Ink refills the pen constantly and emits a very faint glow. The knurled grip can be twisted to change the colour of the ink. The pen never runs out of ink and never dries out, and the ink is a beautiful metallic colour.

This pen’s ink can be used in transcribing spells (subtract 10x the spell’s level in GP when transcribing a spell).

The pen is enchanted, and thus cannot be destroyed by non-magical means. It counts as a magical weapon for bypassing resistances, and deals 1d6 + dex
