Kana’s Mini Modulator:

Once per day an attuned user may maximize the effect of any spell with dice rolls. (I.e. Fireball’s 8d6 simply does 48 damage)

Each time the effect is used, roll a d100. There is a cumulative 3% chance that the Mini Modulator will become disenchanted and emit a pulse of gravitational force damage (maximized for 14d4 = 56 damage).

It can be repaired with 450 GP worth of alchemical supplies, a DC 26 Arcana check, and 3 days’ time. 1 day of proper, directed research can give a +1 to the check
