A red-haired half elf man in his 50s (about 30s for a human) - an administrator of House Mirasalor’s external affairs. Felmir is quite suavely dressed and quick witted.
He is tasked with keeping tabs on Kana’s work and interactions by Heira Mirasalor’s (the head of the house)
Felmir knows that Kana does good work, but is a bit suspicious about her methods. He does not have the full picture on her personal life, but suspects that something fishy is up with her. He is trying to pin down what is going on with her, but cannot find anything definitive. It is giving him an extended headache
Felmir’s observations and findings

Kana must be at least 50 years old, but she seems to visually age at random. Nobody else seems to have made note of this.

He has observed her sitting alone in her office staring at blank papers or the wall for possibly days on end.

Some of the things that she has brought back from research expeditions have mysteriously gone missing after a few years (when there is less interest about them), the contents of them have been covertly changed (in the main ledger and in the vault safebox, but not in other personal books).

After doing some digging, Felmir has found that there is no mention of Arkhana Silverfrond at any point over 25 years ago. She showed up to the Academy out of nowhere with an extensive portfolio of personal research, was accepted, and worked her way up the ranks extremely quickly - demonstrating exceptional magical power, arcana knowledge, as well as a passion for both research and teaching - quite sought after and rare.
- While investigating, Felmir did find mention of someone who had done similar research work many decades ago to what Arkhana presented when she applied to the Academy: Archita Silverlight. Archita was an eccentric wizard who travelled around the Mirror Sea as a part time researcher and part time adventurer. She submitted a variety of papers under a variety of pen names (Alacrity, Finality, Veracity, Divinity, and Clarity) are known ones. She seems to have used different names depending on the type of project on hard. As aa travelling adventure/researcher, Archita worked with many other mages/researchers for one-off or short projects.
- Towards the end of her life, she switched from a focus on mana manipulation and theoretical arcana to focus on humanoid transmogrification and extension of life. As far as anyone knows, it didn’t come to anything.
- Accounts say that Archita was extremely eccentric, paranoid, and hard to get along with. She disappeared from the record around 30 years ago (she would have been 150), and is assumed to have died in some misadventure. Nobody missed her.

Some have reported things about Arkhana, and then retracted their statements shortly after, or not followed through with any further questioning.
- Vixel Essilden: Satyr triage cleric who is stationed on TTMR Academy grounds had once mentioned that he saw Kana around the campus when she was supposedly waiting for a clone to finish growing after being destroyed on her latest expedition. He later went back to say that he actually thought it was someone else that just looked similar, and was just very tired that day
- Professor Tul Maharaja: human wizard complained of excessive amounts of mana radiation leeching from Silverfrond’s office a few times. He said it was interfering with his ability to concentrate in his own neighboring office and demanded that Kana be moved. Professor Maharaja was not fond at all of Kana, even before this. A week later, Tul rescinded his demand for her to move, apologized for being too hot headed, and requested to move one office over instead. The two seem to be on cordial terms now. Tul’s old office is now vacant.
- V3-10 “Velo”: a guard of vault 7 reported seeing Kana phasing through the vault door, and then coming back out a few minutes later. When questioned about this later by Safrel Icecloak, head of security at the RCHP, she said no such thing had happened. Kana called upon Rainthal, and they examined Velo together, determining that Velo was experiencing visual bugs due to some arcane processing malfunction. They fixed the bug and Velo felt better than ever (upgraded with tremorsense too)
