House Mirasalor

A noble house of moderate size and wealth in Tezax Outlook. Many members have ties with the Tezax Technological and Magical Research (TTMR) Academy, either as members of staff (Professors, researchers/research assistants, magical/technological support, etc.) or as suppliers of goods - both lab equipment for the academy, as well as field gear for expeditions (including but not limited to proprietary flavours of Elven Rations) They currently have a deal with the RCHP where they get first reservations on any interesting discoveries before they are put out to the mass market (i.e. they get to see and examine any reverse engineered product before it goes out and have a say in how it should be made/what capabilities the public version should have.)

The current head of House Mirasalor is Heira Rozana Mirasalor. She is an older FULL Elf. Heira is quiet and mostly secretive about the house itself as well as its ties to the TTMR academy. She is a very slow and quiet speaker, prone to staring, and will not willingly divulge information without being prodded (despite her elegant appearance, she is quite an awkward speaker.)

Motivations

House Mirasalor has an interest in keeping the RCHP up and running as they have significant business interest with it. They contract the mass production of inventions from the RCHP, and distribute the items too.

Certain members of the House keep tabs on prominent members of the TTMR Academy and RCHP Guild. The house also tries to keep tabs on significant developments and secrets within the Academy and guild to make sure things are running as safely as possible.

  • The House is currently keeping tabs on Arkhana Silverfrond. The has been a prominent member of the Academy and RCHP for many years, but her ambition is a bit much - verging on dangerous.
  • Felmir Mirasalor is an administrator in the RCHP who works with Kana occasionally, but keeps track of her.

There are a good number of full elves in House Mirasalor. These elves are mostly ground raised or emigrated from the Cheval Isle some time ago to live amongst the other races. They enjoy the cultures of the Mirror Sea, and are generally interested in preserving and advancing the cultures of the shorter lived races. (I. E. They do not wish a Calamity to befall them)

The Mirasalor Tower:

About 1km or so from the edge of the TTMR academy grounds is the Mirasalor House - a tower about 15 storeys tall with tall buttresses, hanging banners, turbines, as well as long colourful vines draping from its walls. The Mirasalor tower is made of clean grey brick, fine deep wood, dark metal, and sea green glass. The lower levels have enclosed balconies and stairs along the outside wrapped in glass, and the upper levels have large, reflective green windows (which are also magically reflective to show the sky and hide anything within).

The main gate of the tower is intricately built with an Elven/fey design (leaves, vines, fine clockwork mechanisms that are visible between the filigree). The gate has a leafy motif and gives the illusion that one should be able to see through it, but it is in fact opaque. A magical message system allows the doorman to speak to those that stand in front of the gate
