Apex Plains

New GM material

This page expands a place shown on World Maps. Geography and previously recorded events are kept where noted; the new characters, sites, and hooks are proposals until used in play.

The Apex Plains are the open country west of Port Irovox and north of the southern range. The map shows an arcology marker here; this entry treats it as an active settlement surrounded by grazing and survey land, with its exact old name left open. Boro Skylark, a centaur courier, knows the safe grass tracks and wants to stop illegal excavation near a migratory route. Sima Kett, a dwarf beacon mechanic, has found an old light responding from beneath the plain. The Step Market gathers at the arcology’s base every sixth day. The buried signal offers a location for an expedition without requiring the structure to be a new city-state.
