Elemental Dominion
Elemental Dominion is an artificially created elemental god formed by the comination of several powerful primordial elementals by an ambitious and powerful wizard lich - Lyzandred the Altruistic, seeking to use it to terraform the world. Dominion soon grew much more powerful than Lyzandred could handle, and eventually breached its containment and slew him around 200 years ago. Dominion is sentient and has a will of its own, but still had the goals of its master hard coded into it. It seeks to change the landscape of the world to the benefit of its followers and itself, creating great swathes of land that are rich in specific elemental forces (i.e. An extremely hot area rich in the fire element, similar to the Plane of Fire, an area nearly totally waterlogged like the plane of water, etc.)
Dominion’s form is reminiscent of a colossal and elongated Bichir with colors associated with each element in a gradient along its dorsal fins. It swims like an eel through the air, and can pass through stone and earth as though it were rough terrain (slower, but without great difficulty). It is resistant to all elemental damage and non magical damage.
Elemental Dominion is responsible in part for the precession of the biomes through its actions. It takes a great deal of its energy, but every few years it is able to shift the distribution of elemental energy in the world slightly.
Church of Elemental Will
Dominion has gained a religious following over the years due to its power - The Church of Elemental Will, based in Eshea Caldera.
Motivations
- Dominion wishes to gain complete control of the elements/environment on the Ring. It wishes to turn the surface of Cytgard into something akin to the elemental planes.
- It heard of a cult that was attempting to summon Tiamat. Has sent a draconic elemental follower to assist them in summoning her, so that it may destroy the competition.
