The Church of Elemental Will
Elemental Dominion has gained a religious following over the years due to its power - The Church of Elemental Will, based in Eshea Caldera. The Church is separated into different sects devoted to each element, and each one is dedicated to the study, control, and mastry of that single element in order to serve their community. Clerics of each sect of the church are tasked with channeling their respective elemental power from Elemental Dominion to affect change in the world. The rank of priest/priestess is bestowed upon the highest ranking cleric in each sect. (Telm was once the Priestess of Acid)
Many members of the church are not fully aware of the scale of the Elemental Domonion’s goals beyond what the Church teaches: to “improve the environment and living condition of elementally aligned peoples of the world”. Most followers of Dominion have some sort of Elemental ancestry; Genasi, Dragonborn, and other such creatures, though there are those of other races that simply wish to see the world restructured for one reason or another. Most members of the cult are commoners who have a mild affinity to a specific element. However, there are some members that posess significant magical power: sorcerors, clerics, wizards, etc. that serve Elemental Dominion. The Church is quite strict about segregating the elements/students/practitioners of each element. The church does not tolerate deserters, as they expect followers to be devoted for life.
The church presents a quiet outward appearance and does not cause trouble in the city of Eshea. Most members do not interact much with outsiders, and stay within the Elemental District (the district in which the Church is most prominent and owns several blocks of housing, and home to its main monastery).
