The Cheval Hall Academy is the main magical education and research institution on the Cheval Isle (with Ionos coming in second).
The studies and research allowed at the Hall is specifically regulated by the Aerocracy. Research that is of more interest to the Aerocracy is prioritized and given additional funding. Professors, researchers, scholars, etc. from places outside the isle are sometimes invited to work here, and sometimes are backed by the Aerocracy with or without their knowledge.
