Thermistor Circuit

New GM material

This page expands a place shown on World Maps. Geography and previously recorded events are kept where noted; the new characters, sites, and hooks are proposals until used in play.

The route overlay places the Thermistor Circuit over the Thermistor Sea. Older notes already call it the floating Thermistor Isle and say Selqie Belmorond was born beneath its Zenith aurora. This entry imagines a ring of walkways and workshops around the island’s central lift works, where crews monitor changing mana and weather. Ysol Belmorond, Selqie’s aunt, is an elven instrument maker who wants to compare an old aurora record with a new surge. Hek Brall, a dwarf circuit steward, dislikes speculation and keeps the walkways open during alarms. A wild-magic pulse circles the island at regular intervals, offering a chance to study it before it reaches passenger docks.
